Oil Painting Class - Florentín

​​Calling all aspiring painters! Welcome to Artskool, instructed oil painting classes in Los Angeles.

​​Join us for a very special painting class at the hottest new rooftop bar in DTLA. Enjoy amazing cocktails while painting your own masterpiece.

​​In this 3 hour class we'll be painting a portrait, reference provided. We'll be using the techniques of the renaissance masters and discuss all things lighting, sketching, painting in layers, color mixing, and how to use all the materials provided. I'll walk you through every step of the way and offer one on one feedback.

​Arrive at 2pm

​Class starts around 2:15pm

​We will wrap up between 5-5:30pm

​​Although we teach oil painting techniques in a traditional realism style, you will find that these are just best practices for working with oils and serve as a great jumping off point to develop your own unique style.

​​No experience necessary, all supplies are provided (including aprons!)

​​About your instructor: Tanya has been working in film and advertising as an illustrator and storyboard artist for over 10 years. Oil painting is her passion and her goal is to share her love of painting with anyone who’s willing to try!
