Speakers:

  • Lukas Gentele (Loft Labs): Tenant Autonomy & Isolation In Multi-Tenant Kubernetes Clusters - A Comprehensive Guide

    • Because spinning up hundreds of single-tenant Kubernetes clusters is costly, inefficient and hard to manage, this approach is becoming less and less attractive for organizations. However, multi-tenancy as an alternative approach is not easy to set up and can be challenging to govern over time. This talk will provide an actionable guide on how to set up multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters in a secure way without compromising tenant autonomy.

  • Philip Miglinci (Glasskube): The State of Package Management on Kubernetes

    • Package Management on Kubernetes is one of the most pressing issues in the Cloud Native community. A concept which is widely known from other ecosystems like desktop and mobile computing has not yet been realized for cloud computing.

  • Ramiro Berrelleza (Okteto): Your AI team doesn't need a platform, but a paved ramp sure can help!

    • The world of GenAI is moving fast. Blink, and there's a new model, blink twice and there are two new GPUs. It's way too soon to start thinking about platforms, standardization, governance… But that doesn't mean we should leave AI developers to figure everything out on their own! In this session, Ramiro will discuss the risks of premature platformatization, cost considerations when it comes to developing AI applications, why Kubernetes is the best tool for AI Infrastructure, and how ephemeral environments are especially useful when it comes to building paved roads for AI development.
