Candlelight & Carabiners: A Clay Workshop

​Join me for an intimate afternoon of community, creativity, and clay in celebration of Pride Month. We’ll gather on my apartment terrace for a cozy, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to hand-build custom clay pendants designed to clip onto a carabiner — a tiny, wearable piece of art!

​Date & Time: June 1 (4 PM - 7 PM)

​Location: Will be sent in an email blast 48 hrs before the event, don't forget to check your spam! (Intimately hosted at my apartment, so please do not share the location with non-attendees)

​What’s Included:

• ​1 slab of clay

• ​1 carabiner

• ​A mix of beads & paracord to personalize your piece

• ​1 canned cocktail or glass of wine (additional drinks available a la carte)

• ​A prepared cheeseboard spread of light bites (if this is close to your dinner time, you'll want to eat a good meal before)

• ​A fully fired and glazed pendant

​What to Expect:

​At the end of the workshop, you’ll select from 3 glaze options for your pendant. Additional glaze varieties will be available a la carte. Your finished piece will be kiln-fired, glazed, kiln-fired again, attached to your carabiner, and then shipped to you in 6–8 weeks.

​A Few Notes:

• ​Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty

• ​Long nails make clay-making a bit challenging! (there are a few ways around this, but you'll ideally want to come with trimmed nails)

• ​Bring a cozy layer in case it gets breezy

• ​Come with an open mind and playful spirit.
