Start off your day with a Canal-side Climate Convo! Whether you’re looking to grow your network of connections, ask and answer climate questions, or just have a heart-to-heart with other Seattlites who care, we hope a pre-workday stroll along the Fremont canal will help energize you as we continue to collectively tackle climate issues.
The plan:
Meet at Cafe Con Todo in Fremont Thursday July 11 between 8am-10am
Grab a wholesome beverage if desired
Smoothie? Superfood lattes? They’ve got you covered!
Bring a reusable container and Cafe Con Todo will happily fill it for you - no waste needed 🙂
Form a conversation group of 3-5 people
We’ll help match people on a rolling basis as you arrive between 8-10am
Embark on a canal-side walk with your group of convo partners! Your journey is your own, but some route suggestions:
Shorter: Down to the Sri Chimnoy statue and back (~30 min round trip)
Longer: Across the Fremont Bridge and along the south side of the canal and back (~1 hour round trip)
Longer: All the way to Gas Works Park and back (~1hr round trip)
Any distance in between! Just check in with your group mates on their timing :)
