After they deliver their 1 minute pitch, they'll receive 5 minutes of direct, actionable feedback on their pitch and concept from our check-writing investor judges.

Nika Duan is a Partner at Inflect Capital, which invests in and incubates early stage startups in health and wellness. She cut her teeth as a consultant at Bain & Company before becoming an impact investor at Emerson Collective, where she focused on healthcare, edtech, and future of work. She then backed student founders as an Investment Partner at Dorm Room Fund and served as an advisor to Google Ventures before joining the team at Inflect, which has invested in companies like Seven Starling, AnsibleHealth, and ShiftRx.
The session is unscripted and unfolds in real time – the judges don’t know the founders’ ideas upon their arrival. There are no slides, there is no script, and there is no live funding happening – it’s all about the natural pitch. Because the thing that holds most founders back? Storytelling. It always comes back to storytelling.
