Rick Kwan is the founder of Local Medellin and Paramo Partners. Local Medellin manages designer homes for long-term full-service stays. It is a guest driven business leading Medellin in hospitality. Paramo Partners introduces and advises sophisticated investors and home buyers in the real estate market here.
Rick was previously a professional impact investor advising Family Offices in social and environmental investments. He was the Head of Portfolio Management at Climate Change Capital in London. There, he managed the world’s largest private carbon fund, a $1 billion private equity fund dedicated to reducing global warming and generating commercial returns through investment in projects and companies in developing countries.
Francisco Carreno -
Francisco Carreño is the Managing Partner of Solidus Capital. His firm is focused on developing upper-middle class apartments for sale in the best neighborhoods in Laureles and Belen. Solidus aims to become the market leader by creating an ecosystem where everyone – buyers, investors, employees, contractors – wins. Francisco is a firm believer that over the long-term the for-sale housing model offers real estate investors the best risk-adjusted returns in Colombia.
Francisco previously headed the New York City office for EverWest Real Estate Investors where he was responsible for a $1.8 billion USD portfolio of real estate assets. His experience at EverWest was the culmination of a 12-year career at some of the top real estate private equity and development firms in the U.S. He holds advanced degrees focused on real estate investments from New York University and Harvard Business School.
