About Event

Join Pulse Fund, GFI Institute, Latitude Media, and Plantible for an SF Climate Week deep dive into the intersection of energy and food and agriculture.

The event is hosted by Banyan Infrastructure:

303 2nd Street, North Tower, 5th floor

Why Attend

The food and agriculture sectors account for approximately one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions while being among the most vulnerable to climate disruptions. Yet these sectors also offer some of the most promising climate solutions available. This panel brings together leaders at the intersection of food innovation, energy transformation, and climate investment to explore how integrated approaches can create powerful climate impacts.

Insights

Our expert panel will explore:

  • The Energy-Food Nexus: Connections between food security and energy, and their impacts on climate resilience

  • Climate-Positive Food Production: Pathways to create carbon-negative food systems through innovative technologies and approaches

  • Investment Opportunities: Where capital can make the biggest difference in transforming our food and energy systems

  • Research to Reality: How partnerships between public research and private ventures are accelerating solutions from lab to market

Why Food & Agriculture Matter for Climate Solutions

Food and agriculture represent uniquely powerful climate levers that affect energy use, land management, water systems, and biodiversity. Changes to our food system can deliver immediate climate benefits while enhancing resilience against future climate threats.

As energy systems transform, agriculture must evolve alongside them—creating opportunities for integrated solutions, including land use, shared infrastructure, and building community resilience. Food innovation, such as alternative proteins, offers climate solutions that can scale rapidly with the right support.
