Career Conversations Workshop: Unlock Your Influence & Build Visibility
When people think about executing a job search, they usually think about getting their resume in shape, applying for jobs, and preparing their resumes.
An updated resume is part of the personal branding process and essential for today’s job market. Companies continue to share job postings, and LinkedIn is full of people sharing that their company is hiring.
I'm here to share with you that resumes and job applications are the kind of things that persist in the world, because we've always done it that way. They are so rarely a tipping point to getting people into whatever their goal role is, though. The real acceleration comes from building influence and visibility for yourself and what you do.
Just ask any business owner who has closed any deal. They influenced someone, made themselves visible, and got that money.
I want you to get that job and get that money. Join me to talk about how to connect with the right people and what to share about yourself so you can get hired or close the deal. If you've participated in my career roadmapping before, this is similar, but new and improved!
Come prepared to dig deep and accelerate past wherever you're stuck. Be ready with pen and paper because of the body/brain interaction and connection that's built when we write. We're going to brainstorm, reflect, connect, and help you walk away with an action plan on how to articulate your story more effectively to get in front of the people you want to influence.
