DOH Food Protection Certification for Emergency Food Workers

​This IN-PERSON class meets the food protection requirement for soup kitchen workers in New York City. Food Pantry workers may also attend.

​Attendees will be required to submit a copy of their government ID in order to receive the certification card, as per NYC Department of Health guidelines.

​You are required to arrive on time for this workshop. Attendance will be monitored, and full participation is mandatory for certification.

​Due to high demand, each Emergency Food Provider (EFP) is currently limited to 2 representatives. You may request to place additional staff or volunteers on the waitlist.

​Note: You are welcome to bring your own breakfast or lunch to this workshop. We will have some light refreshments available.

​This workshop is intended only for staff or volunteers at emergency food programs funded by United Way of New York City, or members of the Policy Committee on Hunger Resources.
