Burn Plan Workshop

​Wether you are broadcast or pile burning, every burn should start with a plan and every plan consists of elements the burner should consider and articulate prior to igniting a fire. If you are a landowner, fire practitioner or land manager that wants to better plan and understand prescribed fire (pile and broadcast) this event is for you. With the aid of a retired USFS burn boss we will be going through the Washington DNR’s Burn Plan Template together (learn the 21 elements of the plan to better understand and prepare for your burn). One of the goal’s of this event is to jump start a library of plans that can be at the ready for permitting when a future Fall, Winter or Spring burn window appears.
