About Event

In a world overloaded with information, stimulation, and stress, it's easy to forget that we have the power to reshape how we think—and with it, how we experience life.

This class is an introduction to meditation as mental training: a powerful, time-tested method for creating new patterns of thought that allow us to engage with the world from clarity instead of reactivity.

Rooted in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, we’ll explore ancient teachings that map out thow to move from a life dominated by impulse and suffering to one grounded in direct wisdom and deep joy.

The session will focus on understanding the radical potential of meditation to transform not just your mood, but your entire perception of reality, and include a guided meditation practice.

Led by Rachel Webb, Co-Executive Director of Three Jewels NYC, this session is part of a global initiative to share authentic Buddhist teachings in a way that meets people where they are. With over a decade of experience in both meditation instruction and mental health work, Rachel is a long-time student of the Asian Classics Institute, which transmits classical Tibetan texts in accessible, structured formats.

Three Jewels was founded in 1996 as a nonprofit Enlightenment Studio and has grown into a global community dedicated to awakening through yoga, meditation, philosophy, and service.
