About the Instructor:
Omar Omar is a stage and screen actor who worked with seasoned artists at The George Washington University before earning his BA in Theatre from the American University in Cairo.
He made his onscreen debut as Yasser in the MBC anthology series “Into the Dark,” and went on to appear as Dr. Amr in the popular Ramadan series “Kamel El Adad +1,” as well as Ramzy in “Kol Sana Mara.” In Ramadan 2025, Omar starred as Malek in “Athena,” joining an ensemble cast led by Sawsan Badr, Reham Haggag, and other prominent talents.
In addition to his work as an actor, Omar leads acting workshops at both the American University in Cairo and Luke Lehner Studios, where he shares his passion for performance with the next generation of artists.
Workshop Description:
Acting for Everyone is a beginner workshop for anyone curious about acting — whether you’re exploring it as a career, a creative outlet, or a way to build confidence and self-expression. You’ll be introduced to essential acting tools for both stage and screen, with a mix of discussion, practical exercises, and scene work designed to improve presence, communication, and storytelling. Along the way, we’ll help participants overcome fears of public speaking and performance in a supportive group environment that encourages trust, collaboration, and creative risk-taking. No matter your background, you’ll leave with a stronger sense of creative freedom, a clearer understanding of the actor’s craft, and a solid foundation to continue — whether in the industry or in everyday life.

عن المدرّب:
عُمر عُمر ممثل مسرحي وسينمائي عمل مع فنّانين مخضرمين في جامعة جورج واشنطن قبل أن يحصل على بكالوريوس المسرح من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة.
قدّم أول أدواره على الشاشة في مسلسل “Into the Dark” من إنتاج MBC بدور ياسر، ثم ظهر بدور د. عمرو في المسلسل الرمضاني الشهير “كامل العدد +1”، وكذلك بدور رمزي في “كل سنة مرة”. وفي رمضان 2025، شارك عمر في بطولة مسلسل “أثينا” بدور مالك إلى جانب سوسن بدر، ريهام حجاج، ونخبة من النجوم.
إلى جانب عمله كممثل، يُقدّم عمر ورش تمثيل في كلٍّ من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة وLuke Lehner Studios، حيث يشارك شغفه بالأداء مع الجيل الجديد من الفنانين.
وصف الورشة:
التمثيل للجميع هي ورشة تمثيل للمبتدئين مخصّصة لكل من لديه فضول تجاه التمثيل — سواءً كمسار مهني، أو كمتنفس إبداعي، أو كوسيلة لبناء الثقة بالنفس والتعبير عن الذات.
سيتعرّف المشاركون على أدوات أساسية للتمثيل على المسرح والشاشة، من خلال مزيج من النقاش، التمارين العملية، والعمل على مشاهد تمثيلية تهدف إلى تنمية الحضور، مهارات التواصل، وسرد القصص.
خلال الورشة سنساعد المشاركين على تجاوز رهبة التحدث أمام الجمهور والأداء، في بيئة جماعية داعمة تُشجّع على الثقة، التعاون، والمجازفة الإبداعية. بغض النظر عن خلفيتك، ستخرج من الورشة بإحساس أعمق بالحرية الإبداعية، وفهم أوضح لحرفة الممثل، وقاعدة قوية للاستمرار — سواء في المجال الفني أو في الحياة اليومية.
