Siqin Bian’s moving image work drifts between fashion, memory, and light.
Her practice often begins in stillness—eventually resting in the space between being seen and being felt.
Her photographic work has appeared in Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar (China & Vietnam), Metal Magazine, Nasty Magazine, and others.
As a director, her films have been officially selected by international fashion film festivals in London, New York, Sarajevo, Seattle, Croatia, and Los Angeles.
This talk will center around her recent visual practice—
sharing how emotion, material, and structure intertwine in her moving images,
and how she maintains rhythm and sensitivity in her creative work while holding a full-time job.
For young creatives navigating between making art and making a living,
this conversation offers a grounded and resonant point of reference.
