The Trip

We’re continuing with our summer tradition to unwind especially after our special day. With its clear water and relaxing sun, Almaza has been our go-to for a summer getaway and we’re sure you’re going to love it as much as we do.
Duration
We’re going for about 3-4 nights depending on accommodation availability.

Tip: We can also help connect you with others who are joining the trip to split the cost.
Transport: Located about 4 hours from Cairo (we can try to drive faster😅), accessible mainly by car or private hire buses or cars. While we won’t be arranging accommodations or transport, we’re happy to suggest private hire cars or buses we personally use.
Accommodation:
There’s a few accommodation options within Almaza. Private Rentals, bookable through local brokers for a small commission and payable by bank transfer. Bookings sometimes require3 a minimum of 3 nights.
Airbnb, is a similar price to the private rentals but may be easier to pay through the app and plan with other people. Private rentals and Airbnb options are typically 2 or 3 bedrooms and both privately owned flats or villas rented by the owners.
There are also multiple hotels within Almaza at different price ranges. We’d recommend private rentals and Airbnb’s for groups of 3 or more as it works out cheaper than the hotels.
Private Rentals: Last summer it was £250 per night for a 2 bedroom flat (1 double bed, 2 twin beds and 2 bathrooms). If 4 join together it would be about £62 per person per night. We unfortunately can’t remember the commission charge, but not usually expensive. Bigger flats and Villas available but price would change.
Airbnb: Starting from about £286 for a 2 bedroom, sleeps up to 4 people. (1 double bed, 2 twin beds and 2 bathrooms). If 4 join together it would be about £71 per person per night. Bigger flats and Villas available but price would change.
Hotels: Jaz Hotel Group listed below from cheapest to most expensive. Starting price per night for 2 people with breakfast from about £260 till about £350.
