​Nik is a tech entrepreneur transforming emerging technologies into real-world solutions. A 3x founder, he has built and scaled businesses in VR, XR, and digital health, including Novobeing, a clinically validated XR patient care platform, and Mindleap, the world’s first psychedelic therapy app. With a background in enterprise sales and GTM strategy, he helps founders navigate the intersection of technology and business growth. Nik is passionate about innovation, startup scaling, and making complex tech practical for real impact.

​Peter Smyrniotis | Emerging Tech Investor
Peter is a board member at Victory Square Technologies, Canada’s leading technology accelerator and venture build studio. As a founder, strategic advisor, and business leader, he helps startups and scale-ups navigate growth, innovation, and operational scalability. With experience in enterprise software sales at Microsoft and Cisco, as well as private equity with Hillcore Group, he specializes in unlocking business value through strategy and execution. Over the last decade, he has launched his own companies, supported hundreds of tech ventures, and advised family offices across North America.

​Yangos Hadjiyannis | Digital Media Strategist

​Yangos is an international entrepreneur, creative director, and digital media strategist with over 20 years of experience. He has led more than 250 immersive projects, events, and campaigns, redefining audience engagement through cutting-edge experiences. Passionate about the evolution from storytelling to spatial story-living, he seamlessly blends emerging technologies to craft human-centered, large-scale narratives. Born and raised in Cyprus with Mediterranean and Colombian heritage, Yangos is driven to bridge cultures through media and create transformative experiences that foster human connection.

​Julia Read | Creative Director, Producer

​Julia is an Innovative Producer with deep expertise in extended reality (XR), emerging tech, game production and global experiential event programming, working with progressive tech companies and cultural institutions spread across xR, game design, experiential live events, edtech and academia.

​Connor Aylwin | Amazon Web Services (AWS)

​Connor is the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sales Lead for Priority Startups in Western Canada. He works with some of the region's most innovative startups building on AWS. Born in Edmonton, Connor founded the Startup Incubator (eHUB) at the University of Alberta while running his own home service business. Connor was managing customer job sites with 12 full-time employees while being a full-time student. Before joining AWS, Connor served as the go-to-market lead for three Canadian startups leading enterprise deal cycles customers like Mastercard, Accenture, CBRE, and DTCC. Most notably, Connor  worked as the Head of Sales at PureWeb, a pixel streaming provider bring immersive real-time applications to mobile devices for large enterprises and top 3D agencies. When not working, Connor can often be found walking around Main Street with his wife and two huskie or training for Ironman 70.3 races.

​Paul Stewart | Head of Business Development, Cognitive3D

​Paul has spent 30 years building relationships with early adopters, including financing internet and film in the 90's and 00's, later financing and selling into environmental markets and during the teens and twenties selling technologies to early adopters/early mainstream. Paul currently heads up sales for Cognitive3D, a spatial analytics platform that helps Enterprise Learning & Development teams, Game Developers, Digital Twin developers and CPG brand strategists understand how users behave within VR/AR/MR immersive 3D experiences. C3D enterprise workforce customers are defining spatial objectives to conduct training simulations with clearer results to reduce injury, improve safety, and measure efficiency. Cognitive3D technology provides an innovative approach to consumer research, which enables brands to develop better product strategy, and understand consumer behaviours through a unique quantitatively measured platform. C3D gaming clients have the potential to understand "what their users are thinking".
