Join us for a Writers' Hour in Madrid, Spain!
Writers' Hour is a focused, silent session to work on your own writing project and connect with fellow writers. We'll gather in a bookshop to write in community, alone but together.
Timings:
6:50pm: Arrive, grab a drink & settle in
7:00pm: Session begins
8:15pm: Wrap
8:30pm: Social
What to Bring:
A current work-in-progress writing project to work on (your computer, notebooks, or simply notebook and pen to journal if you don't have a writing project.)
Headphones (optional, if you prefer listening to music while you write)
Please show up at least 10 minutes early so you have time to grab your seat and a drink. We'll start right at 7pm.

Your Host: Jayne Marshall
Jayne is an editor and a writer of fiction and creative nonfiction. She holds a Master's in Creative Writing, with distinction, from the University of Oxford. Her work has been published - in English and Spanish - in magazines and anthologies in the UK, Australia, the USA and Spain. Including in the Bath Spa University affiliated 'Transnational Literature' (UK), 'Prairie Schooner' (USA) and as a finalist in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Prize (UK). She is from the UK, but lives in Madrid, Spain where she works as an editor at a large Spanish publisher.
