Join RISC Zero at Fenbushi Research House during Devcon, Bangkok!

RISC Zero Dev Rel team will be taking over the Fenbushi Research House on November 9th. Get ready for a full day of workshops, demos, & real time building 🔥

Agenda:

10:00: Welcome hour

11:00 - Grokking the zkVM: A Walkthrough of RISC Zero's Full Proving Stack

This workshop will walkthrough the core workings of the zkVM, how it creates a proof, going into detail about recursion, continuations, and the different types of circuits used to generate a proof of arbitrary RISC-V execution traces. Afterwards, you'll get started with a simple end-to-end example on your own laptop, installing and using RISC Zero's zkVM to generate a SNARK proof and verifying that onchain.

12:00 - 13:00: Brunch

13:00 - 14:00: Unlocking Boundless Execution for your EVM application with Steel

Even with heroic scaling efforts, blockchain execution is still lacking. Steel introduces smart contract execution directly to the zkVM, allowing EVM developers to offload smart contract execution verifiably offchain without being an expert in cryptography, ZK systems or even Rust.  With Steel, execution can be scaled orders of magnitude larger, we’ve seen examples of one execution proof containing 40 blocks worth of execution. This talk will cover how Steel came to be, how it works and the future of application scaling with Boundless and Steel. Attendees will install the RISC Zero toolchain, and work on a simple Steel example.

14:00 - 16:00: Office Hours

16:00 & beyond: Networking & Dinner
