​We are proud to introduce Jamie Lin, Chairman & Partner at AppWorks and President (CEO) of Taiwan Mobile, as our mentor for the upcoming session.

​Jamie Lin is the founder of AppWorks, a leading startup accelerator and venture capital firm supporting AI, blockchain, and Southeast Asian startups. Since 2009, AppWorks has nurtured 563 startups and 1,746 founders, generating $17.4 billion in annual revenues and creating 23,625 jobs. 

​The firm manages four venture capital funds totaling $350 million and has an impressive portfolio, including Lalamove, Dapper Labs, Animoca Brands, and ShopBack.

​In his role as President of Taiwan Mobile, Jamie oversees a telecom and technology giant serving 11 million monthly mobile subscribers and operating Taiwan’s largest online retail shop, momo. His leadership has been pivotal in driving innovation and growth within the company.

​Before founding AppWorks, Jamie was a startup founder for a decade. He co-founded Hotcool.com in 1999, which evolved into Intumit, a natural language processing and chatbot SaaS startup. In 2006, he co-founded the travel startup Sosauce.com, which later pivoted into Muse Games.

​Jamie's journey in technology began at the age of 10 when he started coding and assembling computers. He holds a BS in Engineering from National Taiwan University and an MBA from NYU Stern. His blog, MR JAMIE, has inspired millions in the startup community since 2009, and he has been an advocate for bitcoin and blockchain since 2013.
