🕡: Doors open at 7:00 PM
📍: Lost Vintage, Tanjong Pagar

You’re going to die. So is everyone you know. How should this brute fact shape our lives? Is death a tragedy, a completion, or something else? Join us at the debut of Pour & Ponder, a roving lecture-in-a-bar series, as we grapple with some central questions in philosophy about mortality and its role in the stories our lives tell.
What to expect
- 40-minute keynote. A lively, thought-provoking talk that plants plenty of seeds for discourse.
- Curated Q&A & discussion. Share your “aha” moments, challenge ideas, and trade insights with fellow guests.
- Artisanal drinks & immaculate vibes. Because great ideas are best served on the rocks.
Our lead speaker and discussant will be Andrew M. Bailey — Professor of Philosophy at the National University of Singapore. Bailey is a founding faculty member of Yale-NUS College and teaches and writes on such topics as bitcoin and money, God, and the meaning of life.
There will be an exclusive happy hour menu of select food and drinks at the event. Come ready to think, sip, and connect!
Pour & Ponder is a roving lecture-in-a-bar series, blending passionate ideas from experts with craft beverages to spark discussions beyond campus walls.
