Foster Writing Circle - Emulation Station
Join us for a public session of a Foster Writing Circle, where we cultivate a nurturing space for writers to access their creativity without fear or judgment.
Over the course of 90 minutes, facilitators help writers drop into what feels most alive in the present moment and write from that place. After a dedicated period of focused writing, we circle back and share our experience, perhaps even reading something we’ve written.
For this special "Emulation Staton" circle, come with a favorite passage from a writer (or 2 or 3) you admire and experiment with writing in their style using your own story and point of view.
Lyle McKeany writes Just Enough to Get Me in Trouble, a newsletter about the pains and joys of fatherhood and life. His writing is raw, vulnerable, and sometimes funny. As a facilitator and coach, he grounds you in a space where your creativity can flourish and your truth can come forth through the written word.
