Real-Time Video AI @GenART NYU with ComfyUI & Livepeer
Exploring Real Time Video AI @GenART NYU
Download ComfyUI before the event on your device!
Join an interactive session on Real-Time Video AI, where innovation in video & AI come together. Explore how ComfyUI, ComfyStream, and Livepeer are powering the next generation of video creation with real-time AI workflows, transforming how content is made and streamed.
This monthly hands-on workshop introduces participants to ComfyUI, a powerful node-based interface for AI image generation. Participants will learn the fundamentals of creating and manipulating images using pre-trained models.
But before that what are Livepeer and ComfyUI......
ComfyStream is a project that runs img2img Comfy workflows on live video streams, enabling real-time AI-powered image processing. It integrates with ComfyUI, a user-friendly framework designed for building and managing AI-driven video pipelines. ComfyStream consists of a server and browser UI that allow users to stream video from a webcam and process it using workflow JSON files exported from ComfyUI.
Livepeer is a decentralized video infrastructure platform designed for real-time video streaming and AI video processing. It leverages its real-time streaming stack to transcode and process live video streams at scale. Livepeer enables developers to integrate AI models into video workflows, supporting applications like content creation, real-time analysis, and video agents.
This event is a great opportunity for NYU students interested in AI, video technology, and creative applications to understand how ComfyUI & Livepeer can advance their work. By showcasing live demos from the ComfyUI Hacker Program, attendees will gain hands-on insights into the tools and technologies being built.
