Nursing 101 @ The Christ Hospital & College
Details:
If you drive/carpool: when you arrive at the Christ Hospital, park in P1 Garage, located along Auburn Avenue.
Park on any level of P1 garage and take elevator to Level 1 (Hospital/Medical Office Building entrance).
There are a few ways you can get to the college (which is our meeting point). Either:
through the Medical Office Building, which you can walk outside to, or take the skywalk through; OR
just walk outside and up the small hill and you walk right into the college. When you’re walking up on foot from the garage, the main hospital (which we will also get to visit) is to the left of the college when you face it head on.
If you are dropped off: have your driver let you out directly in front of the college, which is adjacent to the hospital. (They can also let you out at the hospital, if they mistakenly drive past the college).
What happens at this event:
At this hands-on event, you will explore all the various types of nursing, and nursing specialties. You'll also learn about a profitable and fast growing field called Sonography. Finally, you'll get to see a real live surgical room!
