Just BE Kindred Connection - February | Oakland
We are excited to partner with Soulflow Oakland for the Kindred Connections Black History Month session.
Soulflow Oakland
...is a Black-led, woman-led organization co-creating a world where everyone can thrive through yoga, dance, meditation, and so much more. They are committed to ensuring that there is abundant culturally relevant access to healthcare for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and folks with disabilities. They honor that we are part of a global movement that honors authentic lineages and centers healing and liberation practices.
Kindred Connections
...is a monthly third space for Black, Indigenous, Latina, AAPI, and gender-expansive entrepreneurs of color to build community beyond home and work. Through community-driven activities, teach-ins, and informal networking, participants form lasting relationships, share resources, and organize for policy advocacy to create a more supportive environment for BIWOC entrepreneurs in the California Bay Area. This year, Just BE is evolving this pilot project to co-create monthly themes for each session via a democratic decision-making process among participants.
**Light refreshments will be provided to all attendees, and the first 20 folks to RSVP get a drink ticket!**

Travel Details
Merritt House is located on the east side of Lake Merritt and is part of the Lucky’s Grocery Store area. There is ample free parking. However, we strongly advise that folks do not leave any items in their car to avoid any unwanted donations to the Oakland streets. 🙂
