108th NY Hardware Meetup @ Betaworks | NY Tech Week
The Hardware Meetup community is excited to announce the 108th NY Hardware Meetup at Betaworks!
Hardware Meetups happen in over 30 cities around the world, bringing together hardware professionals to network and learn from each other.
This month we'll be at Betaworks, the early stage VC and long-time fixture of the NYC tech community. It's a fitting location for our event during NY Tech Week, and we'll be meditating on a fitting topic as well: AI Beyond the Screen.
From robotic systems to intelligent consumer devices, we'll hear about companies working to bring AI into the real world. We're still recruiting presenters and are talking to some incredible companies, but we'd also love to hear from you. If you and/or your company are working in robotics, on AI at the edge, or any other physical manifestation of AI, fill out our speaker form because we'd love to feature you at the event. Talks are 10 minutes long, not pitches, and followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
Even if you don't want to give a full talk, we look forward to hearing from you during the open mic. Bring demos! We're hoping to have some epic hardware in the room.

Will Bright helped make Backtrack and YellowDog Linux before starting Massdrop at 19. Over the next eight years, Massdrop/DROP shipped 5m+ units of enthusiast hardware; scaling to $100m/year of DTC sales. 90 days before exiting DROP, Will's friend was hit and killed while crossing the road, so he founded Saferide to eliminate 90% of road deaths with vision models and an edge compute platform for every car on the road.
