Developing a Design Action Plan for Berlin- Design Ecosystem Mapping Workshop
Design Policy Workshop with Anna Whicher and Piotr Swiatek
Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop led by design policy experts Anna Whicher and Piotr Swiatek.
As Berlin seeks to shape the future of the local design industry, we recognize the importance of collective insight in determining strategic actions.
With our approaching 20th anniversary of being a UNESCO City of Design it is about time to re-define what that means to us.
This workshop is a key step in bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders—government officials, design center managers, academics, designers, businesses, and skills agencies—to collaborate on these critical discussions.
By engaging with varied perspectives, we aim to co-create policies that will drive innovation and strengthen our design ecosystem for the years to come. Your participation is vital in helping us chart a course for the future.
Building on government and peer-reviewed research, Anna and Piotr have developed a design-led approach to map design ecosystems, measure their performance, and co-create impactful policy actions.
Together we will:
Map stakeholders and initiatives in the Design Ecosystem
Examine systemic strengths and weaknesses
Develop actionable policy proposals collaboratively
We look forward to your participation!
