About Event

This morning session is for strong men who want to learn and share best practices about themselves as a person and as a parent.

TL;DR
What: Invite-only morning event for high performing Dads
Why: Raise the average of the five people you spend time with
When: Tuesday, June 11 at 8:00am
Where: The Royal Room in Norton Commons

Here’s the format for the 10 attendees.

8a Start
- Coffee and mingling
- Review who's in the room (no corny icebreakers)3 key areas of being a high performing Dad, then huddle up (physically in a circle) and discuss these topics.
9a End

Attire: Wear whatever you wear to work (even WFH).

Betra - Core thesis
Betra is an Icelandic word meaning to improve. A Betra man is someone who wants to accomplish more as a person and a parent. A Betra man recognizes he needs fellowship with other men striving to improve themselves. A Betra man wants to be challenged and have the opportunity to share about himself.

From our previous Betra event, other men described this format as inspiring, warm, easy, engaging, growth-minded, refreshing, productive, organized, resourceful, fun, collegial and insightful.

Here are some key takeaways others had from this event:

"There are others who want to do what I want to do"

"Making time for an intentional discussion with a group like this is extremely useful"

"Calibrating my thinking on priorities against others"

"Finding the right balance as a dad is a constant struggle"

"There are a lot of dads going through the exact same things"

"I’m not in this alone"

Finally, since we're hand selecting the group, we ask you not invite others.

So RSVP here and let's share and become better Dads and kickstart a great day.

Betra Backstory
Betra is an Icelandic word meaning "to improve." This event's concept is marrying together two of the most productive events I've hosted. For the last 3 years, I've led workshops for a variety of groups on how high performing leaders prioritize their lives. That format is powerful but time intensive (2 - 4 hours). In the last year, I've hosted 135 business leaders in a morning event to share ideas, impactful content, hacks and life tips. It's also powerful, but it's one hour and is a great kickstart to your day. You can hear more about these two in the video below.

Thanks,

-Todd
