Don't Kill A Bird With A Baseball with Devin

​This is an RPGFest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

​It is 24 March 2001. You are Randy Johnson, the greatest pitcher of all time.

You are 6'10. The Big Unit. Today you will kill a Bird with a baseball.

This event is as inevitable as the 5th Cy Young Award you will receive in 2002. In the dugout of your heart, you know that you will slay a Bird with a ball in 7 hours. You have 6 hours before the game begins. An hour after that, you will kill the Bird with a ball.

They say you cannot stop destiny. They say you must become an avian executioner.

But they don't know your secret: you are not alone.

By tugging at the threads of Fate, you pull other Randy Johnsons into your reality. They come from different worlds, different histories. Some aren't even pitchers. And yet they too are bound by capricious forces to slay the Bird. Perhaps by working together you can find a way to save it.

There is still time to prepare.

There is still time to make peace with what must come to pass. There is still time to struggle against destiny. What will you and your fellow Randy Johnsons do before the clock runs out?

​ Don't Kill A Bird With A Baseball is a game about struggle. Each session ends the same: Randy Johnson kills a Bird with a baseball. But maybe he doesn't have to. Maybe you and your fellow Big Units can change Fate. Maybe the Bird will still die.
