What is the Atelier Summer Festival?
Drop in and pick up a new skill at one of our booths with activities ranging from dance to tech to arts and crafts. Stay for an hour or stay for the whole event, browse multiple booths or go heads down on one — you're invited to join us and explore, share and create. Dinner is on us :)

What is Atelier?
Atelier is a place where anyone has the freedom to explore your curiosity. We gather every Sunday from 12-3pm to create things: software apps, blogs, paintings, videos, music, games, graphics, and so on.

No school work or job work is allowed.
"I don't think I'm creative enough to join."
Your starting point doesn't matter. The only pre-requisite is the curiosity to show up with an open mind.
To become creative, you need to create. This is the place to start, to be inspired, and regain your childlike imagination and drive for making things & sharing them with friends.
Who are we?
A friendly bunch of students, graduates, and dropouts who live near UBC and meet up every Sunday to work on cool stuff together :)
We are inspired by our friends at Socratica, an organization founded at the University of Waterloo that has recently expanded to cities across North America, Europe, and Asia ⁂
