Write Up The Coast: Writing Workshop

​Write Up The Coast writing sessions are designed for our community to come together and write. Whether you are visiting, a resident, a part-timer, tourist, biker, camper, or just passing through. Come write with us!

​Write Up The Coast will help discover the stories inside of you. When we tell our story we are comforted that often our story is someone else’s story. We feel connected through words and storytelling. Using a prompt and free-writing generative story-telling process Write Up The Coast will use methods to build confidence and trust among members through voluntary readings and small group sharing. Participants can join for one or more sessions. Each 90-minute session will be unique with its own dynamic to ensure a sustainable learning and writing experience. Criticism and judgment-free writer discussions. We will share current works, and experiment with character development, tense, dialogue, stream of consciousness, and genre.

​Write Up the Coast will premiere at The Sea Ranch Lodge with two inaugural sessions:
Friday, August 12th, 5:30 PM-7:00 PM
Saturday, August 13th, 10:15 AM-11:45 AM

​Cost per individual session $25.00/person
Both sessions: $40.00/person
