As wind energy continues its rapid expansion, Rera Tech Inc. was founded with a vision to build a sustainable future through wind resource assessment and related consulting services. Advanced wind resource assessment technology, such as that provided by Rera Tech Inc., is essential for wind energy development and is expected to be in high demand in the wind energy industry in the future. In this session, they will present their company's history, services, and ambitious development prospects through cloud computing and high-performance computing (HPC) technologies.
Rera Tech Inc. is a start-up company of Kobe University that provides wind resource assessment and related consulting services for the development of wind energy projects.
Talk 2: Fusion Energy Powered by the Cloud: How AWS HPC Accelerates Fusion Energy R&D
Speaker: Makoto Nakamura (Chief researcher, Helical Fusion Co.)
Helical Fusion is a deep-tech startup on a mission to realize a deuterium-tritium fusion reactor capable of long-duration steady operation by the 2030s. Their breakthrough design and R&D efforts rely on intricate physical and multi-physics simulations that demand high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. To meet these challenges, they have created a "virtual supercomputer" on AWS cloud servers, empowering their simulations and accelerating our development timeline. Makoto will showcase a case study on how AWS HPC is helping their approach to fusion research and energy innovation.
