The Buddha’s Path to Freedom (In-person Registration)
A Non-residential In-Person Retreat With Brock Brown
Description
A Contemplation of the Buddha’s Teaching on the Four Noble Truths.
In this daylong retreat we will reflect on the first teaching the Buddha gave following his enlightenment. This teaching is referred to as “Turning the Wheel of Truth”.
The Buddha’s teachings are said to go against the streams of the world. We will consider how these ancient teachings of the Buddha help us develop peace in our hearts and minds, and find freedom, even in a troubled world.
The day will include reflections, chanting, guided meditations and periods for sitting and walking meditation.
This daylong is suitable for beginner or experienced meditators.
