Worldschooling From a Sailboat With Behan and Jamie Gifford
When Behan and Jamie Gifford sailed south from the US Pacific Northwest in 2008, they intended to take a two to five-year sabbatical.
Fourteen years later, they’re still sailing!
Behan and Jamie have spent these 14 years raising three children aboard their sailboat, Totem while circumnavigating the world. They have visited 48 different counties on their travels - talk about worldschooling!
The crew has remained in Mexico during the pandemic but expects to resume active cruising with plans to set off for the South Pacific this year.
In this upcoming event, we’re excited to be joined by this adventurous couple to hear about their worldschooling journey and their thoughts on what a unique learning environment can do for a child’s education.
