Alexa von Tobel
Alexa is the founder and managing partner of Inspired Capital, a $500M+ early-stage venture capital firm.
Prior to Inspired Capital, Alexa founded LearnVest in 2008 with the goal of helping people make progress on their money. After raising nearly $75 million in venture capital, LearnVest was acquired by Northwestern Mutual in May 2015 in one of the biggest fintech acquisitions of the decade. Following the acquisition, von Tobel joined the management team of Northwestern Mutual as the company’s first-ever Chief Digital Officer.
Alexa, who holds a Certified Financial Planner™ designation, is the New York Times-Bestselling Author of Financially Fearless and Financially Forward. She is also the host of The Founders Project with Alexa von Tobel, a weekly podcast with Inc. that highlights top entrepreneurs.
Originally from Florida, Alexa attended Harvard College and Harvard Business School before settling in New York City where she currently resides with her husband and three children.
Nami Baral
Nami Baral is the Founder & CEO of Niural (niural.com), which provides globally compliant payroll and HR management solution. Nami is a repeat entrepreneur with two successful exits. Prior to Niural, Nami founded Harvest, a fintech company that leverages AI to reduce debt for American consumers. Harvest was acquired by Acorns in 2021. Before Harvest, Nami was Head of Product Partnerships at Twitter, where she had joined as an early employee. Nami graduated from Harvard with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. Nami is an active angel investor and mentor to fintech, data and AI founders.
