Join Carolina Armstrong in Dallas for International Generalist Day - a global celebration happening simultaneously across cities worldwide on September 3rd, 2025.
This year we have events across 30+ countries and 80+ locations!
Carolina is hosting a casual drinks and snacks gathering on the Oddfellows' patio from 7 PM to 8:30. Come mingle with other like-minded professionals in Dallas and chat squiggly career paths. With Jaquval Trades right next door, it couldn't be a better setting for Generalists to get together and connect!
What is a generalist? Professionals who apply their skills across multiple domains, connect disparate ideas, or serve as "translators" between different teams and disciplines. If you've ever felt your career doesn't fit in a single box, this celebration is for you.

This year we have events across more than 25 countries - last year we had 23 cities and close to 1,000 people celebrating together!

Free street parking, plus a mix of free and paid lot parking along 7th and Madison Ave
Accessible entrance off 7th street and avoids stairs from the front lot
As someone who likes to challenge assumptions and widen perspectives, Carolina loves to hear "you're not like regular HR" and "I would have never guessed you're an only child" — music to her ears! She's a big dog lover, vintage enthusiast, and believer that humanity is a group project.
What Carolina loves most about being a generalist is the freedom to constantly innovate and imagine what meaningful and empowering careers look like out of the traditional box.
