About Event

Are you a climate professional, leader, or innovator? Have you experienced burnout while working in the impact space? Join us!

This session will focus on how climate professionals and leaders can remain resilient and shore up mental wellbeing in the current context of compounding pressures. We know that many sustainability leaders are experiencing burnout and anxiety driven by increased reporting requirements, potential budget cuts, fear of federal policy changes, and sorrow from active climate disasters, all while carrying the emotional burden of being the "climate" people.

Schedule

  • 3:30-3:45pm - Welcome and networking

  • 3:45-4:40pm - Panel discussion

  • 4:40-5pm: Mini resilience and wellbeing workshop

The impetus for this event came from the organizers, Rose and Sarah's, personal experiences with burnout and what-are-we-supposed-to-do-now feelings while working in the climate and impact space (Imperfect Foods, Misfits Market, Kiva, Beni).
