BIOS

Safe Slut is an NYC based writer, adult model/performer, reiki master, herbalist, and content creator.

Safe Slut was diagnosed with genital herpes in November 2019. After noticing the stigma and shame surrounding being herpes positive, she created her Instagram account @safe.slut to help people take their power back while promoting sex positivity, helping to destigmatize STIs and slut shaming, and promoting safer sex practices.

In addition to this, she wanted to share her passion for herbal potions and reiki healing. She also spends her time writing about sex and dating on her Patreon, helping people through their herpes diagnosis with support calls and reiki. She’s @safeslvt on OnlyFans to show that you can be hsv+ and still be hot af.

Veda is an aspiring sex therapist and current graduate student at Columbia University obtaining an MSW specializing in clinical practice. She currently works as an intern at Wise Sex therapy and as a health educator at Project STAY. She is passionate about reproductive justice, sexual health and education, gender and sexuality inclusion, LGBTQ+ rights, neurodivergence, grief, trauma, and survivor advocacy and support.

Gina Mostafa, MPH,  is the founder of Queering Existentialism is an education and connection initiative based in NYC that co-creates containers for the practical and accessible exchange of liberating ideas, with the ultimate goal of cultivating communal secure attachment. Their events focus on healing-centered harm reduction, non-violent communication, restorative justice, psychedelics, releasing imposter syndrome around creativity, and other related topics.

This event will also include group discussion on the impact of identity and intersectionality on these topics, as well as how we can center the values of anti-racism, anti-capitalism and the dismantling of white supremacy through our relationship with ourselves, each other and society at large.
