✨ Salaam Bay Area!! ✨

Join us for a transformative coffee chat and workshop featuring civil rights attorney and CAIR SFBA's Executive Director Zahra Billoo!

In these challenging times, where the injustices faced by our communities—particularly in Palestine and Lebanon— and the results of the election can leave us feeling overwhelmed, it’s essential to reclaim our narrative and advocate for change. This event is designed specifically for Muslim women professionals who are looking to:

  • Learn about your rights and resources, especially in light of the recent election and raising awareness on genocide.

  • Understand how to combat Islamophobia and address challenges faced in your professional spaces.

  • Brainstorm and tackle real-world scenarios that may arise in your workplace, with practical strategies to navigate them.

  • Build resilience and learn how to take meaningful action to make a positive impact in your professional life and beyond.

  • Have the opportunity to ask Zahra Billoo any questions you have about rights, activism, and navigating today’s political climate.

  • Eat and network :)

This workshop will be held as a safe space where you can talk openly about the challenges you face in the workplace—whether it’s dealing with microaggressions, Islamophobia, or other barriers—and get support and guidance from fellow attendees and our speaker. It’s a space to share, learn, and build strategies to thrive.

🍕 Enjoy delicious refreshments provided by our amazing partners—Desi Pizza House, Fruits by Heart, A Date with Chocolate—with pizza, chocolate dates, fresh fruits, chai, and more!

Event Details:
🗓 Date: November 16
🕒 Time: 11 AM - 1 PM
📍 Location: Los Altos, CA (near Mountain View, location will be announced 2 days in advance!)
