Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Watson Jordan
Dr. Watson Jordan is the Executive Director of The Resilience Initiative promoting resilience around the world and is known for his headstand to raise awareness. He's also the author of two books: Mine, Ours, and Yours: A Father's Journey through the Life and Death of a Child, a book that explores tragic despair and unearths hopeful resilience. He helps fathers who have recently lost a child grieve so they can survive the loss and return to living.
The second book published in 2021 “Resilience: How the COVID-19 Pandemic Made Us Wiser and Stronger” is a collection of essays from global leaders who provide thoughtful and powerful insight into how adverse conditions do indeed drive us to become wiser and stronger.
A lifelong educator, Dr. Jordan has developed and led programs in technology, safety, integrity, and wellness. He has worked with boards, school heads, senior administrators, faculty, students, and parents in all phases of tactical thinking, strategic planning, and expert implementation. Find him on LinkedIn.
