Bar Pitch: The Art of Storytelling (Live Workshop for Stanford Entrepreneurs)
Sharpen your startup pitch in this high-impact, hands-on workshop led by Joey Katzen (Hawai‘i Angels). Learn to craft a one-sentence “Bar Pitch” that generates real interest and opens doors.
Can you hook someone on your startup in one sentence?
We’re teaming up with founder-turned-investor Joey Katzen for a fast-paced, no-fluff session on how to pitch your startup with clarity and impact. Joey’s “Bar Pitch” format has become a go-to tool for founders looking to raise capital, sell their vision, and stand out in a noisy world.
Whether you're still developing your idea or actively raising, this session will help you:
Cut through jargon and confusion
Craft a one-sentence pitch that sparks questions — not polite nods
Understand the psychology of storytelling that drives FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)
Learn by watching real founders pitch and receive live feedback
Who should attend?
All Stanford alumni are welcome. This workshop is especially useful for pre-seed and seed stage founders — or anyone still refining how they talk about their startup.
