Molly Fowler is the founding partner of the newly independent Dorm Room Fund, the nation's original student venture fund. Since its founding, DRF has helped 400+ undergrad, MBA, masters’ and PhD founders grow their companies and raise billions of follow-on capital from some of the biggest names in venture.
Before spinning DRF Fund IV out of First Round Capital, Molly learned the venture ropes at First Round under Bill Trenchard; was an operator at a Sidewalk Labs/Alphabet-backed tech company; and ran political campaigns in California.
Mike Maples Jr. is a co-founding Partner at Floodgate and the author of Pattern Breakers. He has been on the Forbes Midas List eight times in the last decade and was also named a “Rising Star” by FORTUNE and profiled by Harvard Business School for his lifetime contributions to entrepreneurship.
Before becoming a full-time investor, Mike was involved as a founder and operating executive at back-to-back startup IPOs, including Tivoli Systems (IPO TIVS, acquired by IBM) and Motive (IPO MOTV, acquired by Alcatel-Lucent.)
