Join us for a discussion on the state of AI in content creation & the design process. We will assess the latest developments in AI, its impact on the world of entertainment & design, and assess the skills creatives will need for future roles.

Panelists include:

Eve Weston believes in storytelling as a force for positive change. She is writer/director of the award-winning world’s first 360VR immersive sitcom, The BizNestWeston is a published expert in XR narrative, author of the taxonomy for immersive POV and a professor of VR filmmaking, TV writing and immersive storytelling at top-ranked film schools. She consults on extended reality (XR) storytelling and experience design for a range of clients, from top Hollywood producers to Silicon Valley manufacturers of XR hardware and software.

Weston’s speaking engagements include Stanford University, SIGGRAPH and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the organization behind the Emmys. She is an advisory board member for Hoppin.world. And for The Bruce Lee Foundation, Weston created Be Water: My Friend, an interactive exploration of Bruce Lee's library and philosophy, currently on view at Seattle’s Wing Luke Museum.

Weston founded and runs TheLook.Club, the first searchable database of immersive narrative, which also hosts an original review show on its YouTube channel. Additionally,  Weston founded Metaverse Talent Group to provide real people for virtual worlds, connecting businesses of all kinds with experienced individuals who can host, perform, sell, and represent their business in the metaverse. 

An award-winning journalist, Weston has written about VR for Ms. Magazine and The New York Post.  A produced television writer, she’s written and developed for several ABC/Disney channels and shows, including Wizards of Waverly Place—where she wrote and choreographed a viral YouTube sensation for Selena Gomez. Weston is an alumna of Princeton, USC and Goldman Sachs. Her book 10 Kick-Ass Careers for Storytellers is available on Amazon. Follow her on Medium for cutting-edge insights.

Jordan Kolasinski: Jordan Kolasinski is currently a Staff Product Designer at Netflix, where he's working on tools to power and evolve Netflix's global production and distribution of shows and films.
Prior to Netflix, he designed numerous features at Hulu for their TV, mobile, and web apps, and designed a live streaming TV service for a startup years before the launch of YouTube TV and Hulu with Live.
He's also composed music for commercials and short films, and is endlessly interested in playing inside the overlap of art and technology.

Ghen Laraya Long: is an experienced international technology and entertainment attorney. She specializes in transactional contracts for the creation, production and distribution of all forms of content over traditional and new media platforms. Long has a roster of technotainment clients ranging from producers, directors, writers, musicians, and actors and large multimedia companies to small startups for whom she provides advice, in-house counsel and production attorney services. 

Prior to recent stints with Disney and Red Bull Media, Long was VP Business and Legal Affairs for Mandalay Digital Group Inc., AGC for CBS Corporation, International Counsel for Amp’d Mobile and Business and Legal Affairs for Tokyopop! Inc. She is an active member of her Peer Group at the Television Academy,  is a current board member of Fil-Am Arts, a co-founder of Greenlight Women, and a former board member of Women in Film and Echo.

Minh Do is a seasoned entrepreneur with a background in education, music, journalism, and venture capital. Having raised over $30 million for his startups, Minh specializes in the intersection of AI, film, and media through his agency, Fantastic Day, and his community platform, Machine Cinema. Machine Cinema, has over 1,000 people across multiple cities, especially SF and LA, organizes monthly edutainment events that attract top-flight AI creatives and professionals from traditional industries, and connect with organizations in the emerging AI creative ecosystem.
