What or who is Min Guhong Manufacturing?
A while ago, Laurel (who began Ultralight School) interviewed Min about introducing your own company — how a company can be a therapeutic tool for living, the complex appeal of products, the guiding quality of names, and embracing conventions to explore modern life...

Overview
“If you don’t want to work for a company, invent one.”
“If you don’t want to work for clients, invent one only for yourself.”
In this workshop, you’ll invent a company of your own. But this isn’t just play. A company is one of the most precise structures for talking about yourself.
A company name is a name you give yourself. A company product is the language you produce. And a company policy is your personal ethics, disguised as structure.
Guided by Min Guhong and Laurel Schwulst, you’ll write your own company into being, through text, structure, and maybe even a tiny website.
What You’ll Do
Name your company
Write a short company introduction
Invent your first product (text-based, conceptual, or structural)
Declare one thing your company does not do
(Optional) Create a prototype website or page
