About Brenda Irwin
Brenda is Founder and Managing Partner of both the Relentless Venture Fund and the Relentless Health Pursuit Fund. Relentless invests in preventive health solutions and chronic disease management. The team’s focus is on the most common conditions associated with aging, including diabetes, heart disease, mobility, and brain health. Prior to launching Relentless, Brenda was a partner for the BDC Capital Healthcare Venture Capital team.
Brenda is an associate for Creative Destruction Labs (‘CDL’) and, in 2023, was named “Mentor of the Year” for CDL-Vancouver. She is an EIR for the Life Sciences BC's Investor Readiness Program’. Brenda is Chair of the National Horizons-AI DIGITAL Project Selection Committee and a member of the DIGITAL (formerly known as the Digital Supercluster) Tech Leadership Project Selection Committee. She is also a board director and investment committee member for MEDTEQ+, based in Montreal.
With more than two decades of experience as a health investor, Brenda has been a member of two dozen private and publicly traded companies as well as non-profit organizations, including a six-year term on the board of Providence Healthcare, and is a founding board director for the national Table of Impact Investment Professionals.
