Study Group: Decrypting Web 3.0
School is back in session! 📖
We’re hosting themed Study Groups here at Orbit where we will gather on a regular basis to dive in together on topics of interest.
One such Study Group is Decrypting Web 3.0. If you’re on Twitter, you’ve probably noticed some kind of web3 related tweet - maybe about an NFT, a DAO, or some kind of crypto-related project. We’d love to explore what these concepts mean and how they’re forming the new internet.
In this session, Developer Advocate at Magic and Community Manager at Blockchain Ladies Club - Maricris Bonzo, will lead the way in facilitating this session by covering topics that beginners in web3 should be familiar with.
These topics include:
What is Web 3, how does it work and how does it compare to Web 1 & 2?
How does Web 3.0 look right now?
How are DAOs, Tokenized Communities & NFTs reshaping the creator economy?
Why and how should community folks can get involved in the early stages of Web 3.0?
Study Groups are safe spaces to:
discuss and explore topics
ask questions
pitch in with your views or experience
We’ll be using Butter & Miro. The session will (hopefully) be recorded. ✌🏻
See you there!
