Designing AI Experiences: Intelligence as a Feature

​📲 Learn how to design and plan AI-enabled features in your applications!

This joint UXHI, PyHawaii, and Hawaii Center for AI event will provide a primer of the AI discipline, and an overview of the modern AI landscape including and beyond LLMs. Designers will learn about what can reasonably be implemented by engineers, and engineers will learn techniques for scoping and framing data problems to enable effective use of AI techniques. We'll end the evening with a casual mixer, a chance for attendees to connect and chat about what they learned together.

​🎤 Speaker Bio: Ed White is a machine learning practitioner in DefenseTech with a degree in computer science from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, and extensive experience building bespoke AI applications alongside his users.
