[HYBRID] Blockchain Research Seminar at FHNW Basel
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the organization of a Blockchain Research Seminar at FHNW Basel, open to anyone interested in blockchain technology and research, due to a special occasion. Joining the event provides insight into current academic research in smart contracts and blockchain education. Please find further information and the program below, and feel free to forward this invitation to potentially interested colleagues.
Date: Wednesday, 9th April, 10:00 Uhr, ca. 2h.
Location: FHNW Basel, Peter-Merian-Haus, Room 0.02 (near Basel SBB) and via Teams.
Special Occasion: Visiting Researchers from NIT Warangal, India
We have the opportunity to welcome Prof. P. Radha Krishna [1] and Asst. Prof. Sangharatna Godboley [2] from NIT Warangal, India, for an invited talk on Smart Contracts and Security. Both researchers are well known for their work in Blockchain and Smart Contracts, Software Security, Databases, and E-Business. I had the honor to meet both researchers at NITW in 2023.
The NIT universities are National Institutions of Technology, internationally recognized for their highly reputable research and education. Prof. Krishna and Asst. Prof. Godboley will be visiting FHNW from April 8–12 after presenting at ICST 2025, a top IEEE conference on Software Security in Italy.
We are delighted to welcome Prof. Dr. Walter Dettling [3] from FHNW, University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Basel, and Dr. Simon Curty [4] from the University of Fribourg as experts. They will be sharing their expertise and research on Blockchain Education and Visual Smart Contract Programming with us.
