About Event

Do any of the following scenarios resonate with you?

Amanda: I’ve built up a professional community who care about inner-growth and shifting the paradigms of power-over in work. I can’t hold this community alone. I want some help.

Sofi: I wish I had a local community to help me process things I deeply care about, like climate change, and get creative about taking action; how do I even get started?

Mark: I'm creating a game with someone, and we don't know where to go next. I switch to work on other projects to avoid the roadblock.

Come join us in a warm data People Need People series that will explore the complex process of creating and co-creating in communities.

Starter Cultures invites you to a People Need People series:

We are offering a series of three 1.5 hour sessions over successive Thursdays in August (with an optional 4th session for harvesting emerging insights). The experience is cumulative so it would be wonderful (but not required) if you were able to join us for every session.

When: 12:30-2:00pm (Pacific Time) Aug 4, 11, 18 and an optional harvesting session on Aug 25. (use World Clock Converter to find your local time)

Where: Zoom land. (A zoom link will be sent to you once you sign up by clicking the button below)

What is People Need People ?

People Need People is  an online “Warm Data Labs” approach developed by Nora Bateson (Bateson Institute), where we:

  • explore the ways in which we are making sense of the rapid changes currently unfolding in our lives

  • explore how these changes are taking place across multiple contexts of life

  • enable mutual learning and appreciation

  • provide spaces for connectedness, of humility and integrity, of love and care, aliveness, warmth and humanity

… shifting our perception of the 'familiar' and opening possibilities for new actions. Now is a time to be in mutual learning, and, in doing so, bring vitality and integrity to the spaces we show up in.

This warm practice can reveal to each of us important aspects of what we’re experiencing. Bring your curiosity and your stories.
