​From being young and dumb on the Glasgow gay scene, through homelessness on the streets of Barcelona, to being committed to a psych ward and then landing in recovery. A tragic yet hilarious true story about overcoming demons and finding the real meaning of what it takes to be happy.

​This show is the true account of Iain's journey through addiction, mental health struggles and homelessness to recovery — all told in his own unique style.

​After a successful run in 2024 (Edinburgh Fringe, sold out performances during the Barcelona Fringe Festival, then 4 nights at The BCN Studio) we've now brought it back (by popular demand, obviously) to give you all the opportunity to see the show that everyone is raving about!

​This special theatrical version of the show has a longer running time than the version Iain has been performing on the comedy club circuit.

​In addition, the audience is invited to stay after for a Q&A session where you can ask him anything from how Traumedy was created to details about the topics covered in the show. He is doing this exclusively for his performances at The BCN Studio, so we hope you hang around for it, though it's not mandatory!

​When asked why he wanted to add this Q&A Iain said:

​"I have had so many beautiful interactions with all the different audience members after my shows. Some with questions, some sharing their own story and some with people asking what they can do to help a loved one or even themselves. It feels natural to make space for the community we all find ourselves in by the end of the performance and I always wished I had more time to speak to everyone. The BCN Studio feels like the perfect comfortable place to do this."
