Come and join us for two days of coding with young people like yourself. And, just like last year, there are cash prizes for the winning and runner-up teams.
In partnership with Google Play, we're bringing together young coders, ages 15-25, for an unforgettable two days of creativity, coding, and connection. Teams will build innovative mobile apps centered around social justice and community themes, receiving guidance from experienced mentors in a supportive environment. The winning team earns a cash prize and the exclusive opportunity to deploy their app on Google Play!

Cash prizes: $1800.00 for the winning team; $150.00 for the runner-up team

How you get ready:
Bring a computer with power cord
Bring your software of choice. E.g. Unity, Flutter, Mobile Angular UI
Have limited coding experience? No worries. Check out App Inventor. It’s great for prototyping - teams used it in 2024!

The Challenge:
On day one we will place you on a team. Your team will be tasked with the goal of building an app that is social-justice and community centered. Here are some ideas to get your creative ideas flowing:
