NP Celebrates Black History Month with Icess Fernandez Rojas

​Celebrate Black History with Nuestra Palabra for an evening of literary and visual arts featuring Icess Fernandez Rojas reading from THE OPPOSITE OF BREATHING IS CEMENT. 

​​You will be surrounded by visual art created & curated by KROMA HOUSE owner and artist Jatziri Barron, who will tell you about her vision and work. 

​​Admission is free, but you must RSVP as seating is limited.

​​Hosted by Professor Tony Diaz, El Librotraficante, In conjunction with Latinas Y Libros HTX, whose Co-Director Gabriela Villarreal joins the lineup, too.

​​Additional supporters include BANF, Monday Paper, and The Law Office of Carolina Ortuzar-Diaz, PLLC. There will be light bites, soft drinks, and wine.
